Domestic Violence: Healing Starts at Hartley House

When a victim of domestic violence flees their abusive relationship, they often have nowhere to go. For this reason, many victims see no way out and are forced to stay in abusive environments. For those who do leave, they often find themselves living on the street or, if available, at a nearby homeless shelter. Studies have found a direct correlation between domestic violence and homelessness, particularly among mothers with children. 

Here at KWS Insurance, we are passionate about helping our community and so we have decided to support The Hartley House and all the amazing work they do for victims of domestic violence in our area. 

 The mission of the Hartley House, a dedicated team of individuals working with the community, is to put an end to the epidemic of domestic violence by providing physical and emotional refuge. This domestic violence shelter advocates for freedom from violence through education, intervention, and treatment. 

Our agency is determined to support The Hartley House as they continue to educate and support those affected in our community….and we want you to be a part of it!
